Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship

The Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship program provides our customers with the assurance of a well-rounded, knowledgeable workforce. Our Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship program, approved by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, is the only one of its’ kind in Louisiana, in fact, it is the only one of its’ kind in the South.

Apprentices are required to attend 216 classroom hours and 2,785 hours of on-the-job training. The program takes a minimum of 18 months to complete, and apprentices must spend a designated amount of time in every department, to include CAD, Customer Relations, and Sales and Marketing. We believe the extensive training each apprentice receives provides the individual with well-rounded knowledge of the manufacturing process, from start to finish.

Apprenticeship applicants are required to complete a standard application, which includes a math test and team interviews. The applicant must be at least 16 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Contact our Employee Relations Department to receive more information.
